06/06/2017 Saskia 2 of 2

Saskia, the Unyielding Deck

Core idea: Land destruction mixed with Enter the battlefield triggers. I misread Saskia and thought she worked with Panharmonicon. She doesn't, but oh well, the deck still looked amusing on paper.

Although this deck felt relatively competitive with a decent hand, I honestly found it pretty boring and it often stalled out. Finding the sweet spot between ramp, weakness to flooding out and too high a mana curve didn't quite work out here.

Also, man, four color decks require way too much fetching. I think looking forward I'd try to put together this deck using a lot more green spell ramp and a lot less creatures. I was imagining they'd be helpful with the various reanimation stuff and Saskia doubling damage is neat, but it ultimately didn't feel quite so.
